Cinny Roy holds a Master’s degree in counseling and is licensed in the state of Ohio; Supervisory level – providing supervision for counseling interns.

Areas of competence: grief/loss, premarital counseling, couple counseling, relational conflict, personal growth, sexual/verbal/domestic abuse, Pregnancy loss due to abortion, codependency, trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and parents and families of addicted loved ones.

 

THEORIES
You as client, are important and what you desire from counseling is important – Person-Centered Therapy.

It is important to develop self-awareness or mindfulness – Gestalt Therapy.

Education is vital for individuals and families to improve interpersonal problems – Adlerian therapy.
Identifying and correcting maladaptive thinking will improve feelings and actions – Cognitive Therapy.

I am a counselor who is a Christian. I believe you have the right to know this about me. It is not a prerequisite to counseling that our belief systems are similar. Your spiritual preferences will be respected and discussed during initial session.
